I met ginlottifor lunch today. She brought her dearie Ash along. She's such a darling, and what good manners she has too. My Edi has alot to learn from her! :p

We headed to HV Shopping Ctr for a short shopping trip after the meal. I saw so many cute girlie clothes which I am so tempted to buy. But I didnt, and ended up with 3 cute little rompers for $10. And they are very easy to put on for the baby too. So pleased with my buy. =)

I started reading her books about 2 weeks back. I have finished the 3rd book of hers over the weekend. I'm really looking forward to reading more of hers. 

1. Second Glance

This is the first book I read of hers. I like the way she play around with the characters and the kind of emotions she put in each of them. A romance which travels through time. Is the person you fell in love with the real person? And well, another reason I like it is because there are paranormal content involved. =)

2. The Pact

If your lover wants to leave the world and ask you for help to kill him/her, would you do it? This is what the book is about. I went on a journey and found out what makes the female lead so insistent on ending her own life. And I could feel her motives. 

3. Vanishing Acts

This book didnt attract me as much as the other 2. It was an okay read. The story moved kind of slow.

Zara withdrew a bag with swastikas on it.

Whenever I see the sign, I also think of Adolf Hitler. Though I also know it is a religious symbol for Hindus and Buddhists.

I also realise that there is a Red Swastika School in Singapore. Recently, I told a friend of mine about it, and she was totally shocked at why such a name for a school. Keke... see? She, like me, also thought of Hitler. =P

It doesnt take a fool to know that we women want to take good care of our skin.

It's important to scrub our face about once to twice a week to let new skin grow. But don't overdo it.

I'll tell you why...

The more your scrub, the more chao lao you will look....

GL was working the late shift last Sat, so left Edi and me at home. So I whipped up a simple dinner for the both of us.

Eating has become more of a relaxed affair nowadays since he sits at the dining table and eats together with us. And he feeds himself too. I realise he eats faster when he feeds himself... :p



Nothing fanciful.... :) But I did like my garlic rice alot... keke... I dun need to dine at expensive places to eat nice food... on hindsight, my garlic rice reminds me of the one I ate at Akashi before, which my bestie and I love alot...:)
